Healtheon/WebMD Signs Deal for Online Career Center

Healtheon/WebMD Corp. has signed a $40 million deal with MedCareers.com in which MedCareers will develop and operate a career center on Healtheon/WebMD's portal. Atlanta-based MedCareers will be the exclusive provider of online placement and recruitment services for healthcare professionals and employers on Healtheon/WebMD's portal, WebMD Practice. In addition to receiving about $40 million over the next five years, Healtheon/WebMD also will receive a portion of the revenue generated by the career center.
