Health care employment site MedCAREERS.com said April 6 that it agreed to pay Healtheon/WebMD Corp. $40 million over five years to develop and manage on an exclusive basis the WebMD Career Center on the Atlanta-based Internet health care company's physican and health care provider portal WebMD Practice. Launched Feb. 15, 2000, Healtheon/WebMD owns 30% of MedCAREERS.com.
