MedCAREERS to Power Sites

ATLANTA, July 3 (dbusiness.com) -- Atlanta's MedCAREERS announced that it will power career center pages on the sites of three companies: HealthSpan Solutions, MDExchange.com and MCOExecutives.com.
MedCAREERS, a health care career application service provider (ASP) and Website operator, has launched the three new cobranded career sites at www.healthspansolutions.com, www.mdfileroom.com , and www.mcoexecutives.com. According to a company release, MedCAREERS integrates its career center technology directly into the cobranded partner sites.
With these new employment centers, job seekers will be able to create a secure online resume, conduct advanced job searches by profession, specialty, location and keyword and apply for positions immediately online. The company said these new sites will give employers single-point access for managing multiple job listings, as well as resume searching and matching capabilities that will link them to candidates.
In a prepared statement, Erik Pitts, president and CEO of MDExchange.com, said the MedCAREERS agreement will allow his site to offer a career center without having to develop and maintain the technology behind it.
MedCAREERS has previously launched career centers on WebMD (Nasdaq: HLTH), WebRN and J&C Nationwide and plans to announces additional cobranded sites in the next few months. The company markets and manages its own Website devoted to career and staffing for health care professionals.
MedCAREER.com provides medical employment placement for such health care companies as Kaiser Permanente and Mercy Health Partners. They currently list around 17,000 jobs across all health care professions.
Atlanta-based HealthSpan Solutions offers consulting and marketing services for health care providers and companies across the country. MDExchange.com of Milwaukee, Wis., operates MDFileroom.com, a clinical results portal, and Ridgeland, Miss.-based MCOExecutives.com is a free managed-care information site.
