A highly respected hospital located near beautiful Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Registered Nurse - RN - Emergency Dept. (ED) for a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal Registered Nurse (RN) - ED/ER provides the analytical ability to solve all clinical nursing issues and conduct quality improvement research utilization projects.
- Exhibit organizational skills in setting priorities and efficiently completing assigned work in addition to delegating appropriate patient care activities.
- Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enters, and interpret computerized data/information.
- Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the health care team, patients, and families.
- Physical ability to meet the core job responsibilities in accordance with practice setting demands for the patient populations regularly served.
Requirements:
- Current RN License within the state of AK or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- BLS Certification
- At least 1-year of ED experience
