A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in central Alaska.
This position begins in March/April 2025 and is ongoing, offering 12-hour shifts with in-house call. The focus is on bread-and-butter cases, primarily OB with occasional trauma for stabilization. Case types include general surgery, healthy pediatrics, OB, vascular, thoracic cases requiring double-lumen endotracheal tubes, airway management, ultrasound-guided blocks, neuraxial anesthesia, and line placements (IV, arterial, and central). CRNAs handle most cases under physician guidance, with Cerner as the EMR system.
