Qualifications
Seeking candidate who is Board Certified (or Eligible) in Internal Medicine.
Completion of Geriatric Medicine fellowship and prior Hospitalist experience preferred.
Clean background; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in NC.
Knowledge of coding standards and basic financial processes including strategies for decreasing costs per case, improve case mix index, impact of core measures and readmissions on financial results.
Knowledge of core measures and performance improvement strategies to drive improvement.
Experience in participating in and/or leading quality improvement initiatives, preferred.
Proficient with computers, dictation systems and portable devices.
