Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pathologists with the preparation and examination of surgical pathology and autopsy specimens

• Conduct gross examinations of surgical specimens and prepare tissue for further processing

• Assist with the preparation of reports for pathologists

• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all procedures and specimens

• Collaborate with other lab staff to support efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Pathologists' Assistance

• ASCP certification or eligibility preferred

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology procedures, and lab safety protocols

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
