Join Our Team as a MS/Tele Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Short-Stay Observation Care!

Our hospital is looking for a passionate MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team, delivering compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry units
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Skilled in starting IVs and managing PICC lines
- Valid BCLS certification (additional ACLS and OCN certifications preferred)
- Ability to float to assist with inpatient Med/Surg Tele patients as needed
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- ACLS certification
- Oncology (OCN) certification or experience in chemotherapy/radiation symptom management
- Experience working with diverse patient diagnoses such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, post-procedure care, and hospice transitions
- Flexibility with occasional floating to the James ED to support inpatient needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 2 years of relevant Med/Surg or Telemetry experience, including managing complex cardiac patients
Other Requirements:
- Night shift availability (19:00 - 07:30, three 12-hour shifts per week)
- Must obtain and maintain all required certifications
- Travel and licensure reimbursement, comprehensive medical benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, and a competitive hourly rate of $59.18
- Ability to work in a fast-paced observation unit, managing patients with short stays of up to two midnights, with the goal of safe and efficient discharges
