Are you a dedicated Urology Physician looking to expand your impact within a state-of-the-art hospital setting? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to provide exceptional urological care, including both office-based procedures and trauma coverage, at York Hospital. Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (BC or BE)
- Active PA License or IMLC LOQ (in hand)
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Urology practice experience
- Proficiency in core procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile implants, lithotripsy, circumcision, and orchiopexy
- Ability to manage patients over 18, with emergency support for occasional pediatric cases
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work a 24-hour call schedule reliably
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic surgery and operating room procedures
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system
- Supervision experience with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Prior trauma care experience
- Multilingual skills or additional certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency in Urology with at least 1 year of relevant practice
- Experience working in hospital and surgical settings, with familiarity in robotic procedures advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on June 1, 2026
- Ability to work scheduled 24-hour shifts with callback hours
- Willingness to assist with rare pediatric cases and occasional OB support
- Must obtain necessary licensure and credentialing within 90 days; temps considered with a clean file
- This position includes support staff collaboration, state and federal law compliance, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and more
