Join Our Team as a Neonatologist in Pediatric and Perinatal Medicine!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neonatologist to join our dynamic hospital team, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of newborns and their families. This vital role combines inpatient NICU expertise with outpatient engagement, all within a supportive, state-of-the-art facility committed to excellence.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Proven experience in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, with the ability to manage high-risk deliveries and NICU patient care.
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment, stabilization, and treatment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to respond swiftly during high-pressure situations, with a 20-minute response time when on call.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing inpatient rounds and outpatient clinics seamlessly.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-volume NICUs, particularly in Level III or higher facilities.
- Prior experience attending C-sections and managing high-risk deliveries.
- Familiarity with Spectra Link phone systems and pager communication tools.
- Multilingual abilities or additional certifications in neonatal care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting, preferably with Level III NICU exposure.
- Valid medical license and any applicable state or federal certifications.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for approximately one week of additional coverage per month.
- Willingness to participate in hospital-based outpatient clinics on Thursdays.
- Ability to attend high-risk deliveries and manage NICU patients effectively.
- Ability to adhere to hospital policies and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
