Description
Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an impactful 4-day locum tenens assignment, commencing on Aug 7, 2026. This role involves delivering essential primary care services within a private employer-based clinic, catering specifically to employees and their dependents from local school districts. The physician will manage a range of outpatient cases, including routine visits, history/physicals, and women's health, across varied daily shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide outpatient primary care for employees, spouses, and dependents of local school districts and private employers
- Manage scheduled same-day visits for non-acute walk-in cases
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Offer women's health services
- Oversee in-house lab draws and coordinate external lab services through Quest
- Collaborate with RN/MA staff for vaccine administration
- Dispense non-controlled medications onsite utilizing barcode scanning
Additional Information - Board Certification in Family Medicine is required
- Experience with Athenahealth EMR system
