What You’ll Do
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and procedural trays using specialized equipment such as sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic devices.
- Ensure all sterilization and processing procedures meet hospital standards and protocols.
- Maintain sterilization documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sterile processing area.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely and accurate instrument processing.
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
What You Need
Required:
- CRCST or CSPDT certification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hospital setting Level I or II
- Ability to operate sterilization equipment including Sterrad and ultrasonic devices
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Preferred:
- Experience with specialized sterilization machines and procedures
