Standard Qualifications: Heart & Vascular Services Cardiac Care  St. David's HealthCare provides advanced cardiac care, from emergency services to diagnostics and treatment including complex ablations, cardiac catheterization and open-heart surgery, to renowned cardiac rehabilitation programs. Board-certified physicians are supported by specialized nurses and technicians.  The Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute is a world-renowned leader in electrophysiology treatment and research.     POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the EP lab Manager, the EP Lab Supervisor will,in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures, coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of the intra and interdepartmental activities of the unit. The SNU is responsible for an awareness of patient conditions and problems, and for maintaining an acceptable level of nursing care on the unit. The Supervisor acts as a representative of the Department Directors and Administration, provides for the framework of competent, cost-effective patient care, and actively addresses process improvement and service line development. The Supervisor of the Electrophysiology Lab practices and promotes superior guest relation skills and the maintenance of a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
