Full-time Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner First Assist neededin a beautiful area of New York! (Reference Code: KAM)
Join an outstanding medical team located in a family-oriented community with excellent schools and year-round recreation in the nearby Adirondacks, 45 minutes from the Albany/Saratoga region.
Currently looking for a full time Surgical PA or NP First Assist at a small hospital. This position has been created due to volume and the growth of the Surgery sector. About 80% of patient volume comes from outpatient services and a strong network of hospital run practices. The current surgical specialties are General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, ENT and Podiatry. Brand new Dialysis Center. 5 ORs and 3 scope rooms. Also operate a free standing Endoscopy Center.
This is a full-time, permanent position (4-5 day week - the choice of which would impact the salary offering). In addition to OR assignments, this PA/NP would also provide back up for the Pre-Anesthesia NP.
**PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification. Must have clean background and be licensed or eligible for licensure in New York. Previous experience is preferred.*
