Continuum Medical Staffing has a long term locums assignment in Alaska

This assignment is for inpatient coverage. API is an acute care, inpatient, locked facility. Work will be with adult pts but may need to admit an adolescent while on call. Candidate(s) will be working on an interdisciplinary team to include Social Worker, Nursing, Psychology, and Rehab services. Patient load depends on census but is about 12-14 pts. We have a high admission and discharge rate, therefore medical records and notes need to be done daily or per Joint Commission or Insurance requirements. Preference is for notes to be done same day. The work days are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends (about 1 x per month) and may include a holiday, depending on length of assignment. Call is about 1x per week. Hours are 8am – 4pm.

Clean AK license
2 years or more of recent experience
Malpractice, Accommodations and trip provided
Providers are paid on a weekly basis.
