Job Highlights

• Position: Family Nurse Practitioner


• Setting: Outpatient, Community Health Center


• Start Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)


• Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension


• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week), no call


• Patient Load: Up to 18 patients per day (newborns to geriatrics)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care, including acute, chronic, and preventive services.


• Conduct basic procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical assistants, mental health therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.


• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient charting and documentation.


• Care for a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available onsite.

Requirements

• Active Washington State Nurse Practitioner License and DEA certification.


• Minimum 2 years of experience as an FNP with recent face-to-face patient care.


• Clean background with no malpractice history.


• COVID and flu vaccination required.


• Board Certification required.


• Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
