Description
Family Health Associates of Lewistown Hospital has an opening for a full-time, employed Advanced Health Practitioner to join our Urology clinic. Enjoy the benefits of maintaining regular office hours in a busy, well-established practice with an experienced Urologist. FHA’s Urology clinic is located very close to the surgical services area, which offers large, new OR suites. Our community also has a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center with the latest technology and a well-trained staff, which includes a Radiation Oncologist, Radiation Physicist & Radiation Dosimetrist. Some of the procedures that our Urologist does and/or outsources are: •Extracorporeal Shockwaves
•Lithotripsy done once/month with an outside contractor
•Transurethral bladder resection tumors (TURBT)
•Cystoscopy fulguration
•Cystoscopy stint placement
•Cystoscopy bladder biopsies
•Ureteroscopy with lithotripsy
•PVPs – photo vaporization of the prostate once/month with outside contractor

Skills
The qualified candidate will have a certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a CRNP with a Master’s degree in Nursing, or certification through the PA State Board of Medical Education and Licensure as a Physician Assistant and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior Clinical experience in Urology required as well as prior experience working with adults. EMR experience preferred as well.
