Urology Nurse Practitioner:

• JOB SUMMARY
  • The care team Nurse Practitioner role is focused on patient care and technical functions including but not limited to: providing hands on patient care and diagnosis, conduct triage, prescribe medications and medication refills, vaccine/injection administration, order test/procedures, patient education, charting patient data using multiple computer systems.  The Nurse Practitioner displays excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure the deliver high quality patient care and education.  Nurse Practitioner shall maintain licensure and certifications as required by their licensing board.  The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with the care team to supply personalized patient healthcare using the best evidence based practices within the scope of their license and under the supervision of staff physicians.
• POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • Graduate Degree - Masters or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
    • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
    • Current Georgia License - RN - and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
    • Current Georgia Licensure in: - DEA License
  • EDUCATION PREFERRED
    • N/A
  • 
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Some hospital or physician practice experience
  • EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
    • 2 Years Minimum in Related Role
  • 
    CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
    • CPR
    • Other - ANCC or AANP
