Here, you will have a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals as you gain a wealth of experience and training in substance use disorder and mental health treatment. We are seeking a Per Diem, Part Time Physician (independent contractor) to provide primary care services to all patient populations in a Joint Commission certified clinic integrated with behavioral health services and operating as a patient-centered medical home with locations and opportunities in the Lancaster/Palmdale and the San Fernando Valley. The services include but are not limited to providing physical examination; diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications as needed by the patient population; ordering lab and diagnostic work; coordinating with the Primary Care Director and the Pharmacists in the ordering, providing oversight to the Physician’s Assistant/Registered Nurse Practitioners and consulting with medical specialists. Doctorate in Medicine and physicians interested in Substance Use Disorder services to include the use of medication support such as buprenorphine and Vivitrol a plus.
