At HCA, we are driven by a single goal: the care and improvement of human life.  The Administrator Workforce Planning Center (WPC) collaborates with the Performance Improvement (PI) AVP Workforce Planning Center and Division Leadership to define and execute the strategies for the Workforce Planning Center in support of PI objectives. The Administrator will establish and provide oversight to dedicated resources that meet the organizations goals and is held accountable to deliver results specific to the WPC. The Administrator oversees the day to day operations of the WPC, develops essential policies and procedures, and implements routine processes, functions, reports, and practices. This position partners with hospital leadership and finance to achieve best practices in staffing and scheduling. This position requires solid leadership, trust building, team building, as well as change management to influence and lead other HCA departments and business partners in order to ensure success of the Workforce Planning Center initiatives. This individual must possess strategic vision, excellent communication skills, proven facilitation skills, proven motivational capabilities, have an executive presence, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results and attaining goals.   Provides direct leadership, oversight and accountability for the operational effectiveness of the Workforce Planning Center In conjunction with the PI Leadership Team, develops and executes the annual WPC strategy that supports the organization Provides and direction to the WPC team to ensure operations meets the needs of the facilities within its span of control Works Collaboratively with key stakeholders to monitor and provide continuous improvement of staffing and scheduling processes and outcomes Enables decision-making by effectively analyzing business drivers and constraints, and presents alternative solutions to address problems and opportunities Responsible for the hiring, developing and managing of WPC staff Ensures role clarity among and between all roles in the WPC Establishes relationships and is viewed as an advisor to finance and hospital leadership regarding workforce management Collaborates with hospital leadership in the establishment of workload measurements, staffing standards, and the monitoring and analysis of productivity and benchmark reports Serves as an advisor to hospital management and teams on the use of process improvement tools and techniques for workforce management. Conducts routine meetings with hospital leadership to review the performance of the organization and the WPC in meeting the organization's expectations Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
