Description
Location: Ithaca, NY
Duration: 3-4 months, option to extend (credentialing is 6-8 weeks)
Schedule: fulltime, 7on-7off,
Shift: flexible- prefer 10-hour shifts, but as short as 8 or as long as 12. Mon-Friday
Call: weekend call, call volume is not heavy.
Patient volume: during the day shifts: 5-7 per day on average.
Scope: OB, epidurals, routine reginal blocks, bread & butter anesthesia
EMR: MediTech
Hospital: No trauma designation, have 10 ORs, but usually only running 6-7 rooms
Group/support: CRNAs, locum provider is not responsible for overseeing them but they are available to assist from time to time. 1-2 other physicians on site during shifts.
