- Coverage: - Daytime coverage: Routine Operative + clinic - Call coverage: Operative call (only by surgeon's discretion) - cross coverage between CT & Vascular Surgery
- Duties: Operative first assist and EVH for cardio thoracic cases.
- Procedures: (Operative support) - Routine AVR, MVR, CABG's, & routine cardiac surgeries - Routine vascular and/or thoracic surgeries - CABG w/ EVH, AVR, MVR - PW, AV fistula, Wound debridement - VATS, Thoracotomy, CEA, AAA - LE Bypass, LE angiogram, BKA, AKA - PD cath, Permacath - Inari, EKOS, Vein Ablation
- Support Staff: CVOR Rad techs, CVOR anesthesia, nurses, circulating & scrub nurses
- Trauma Level: I
- EMR: Epic
- Additional notes: - Low volume trauma calls.
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements: - NCCPA Certified
- Active NE License (preferred; if non-licensed, must be willing to obtain ASAP)
- DEA
- ACLS, & BLS
- Prior CTS, independent vein-harvesting, CT & Vascular surgery first assist experience
- Clean Record (preferred)
- COVID Vaccinated
