Description
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Reason for coverage: To provide OB/Gyn services
Schedule: 8:30am -%:00pm; Say until last patient is seen
Shift: 8-hour Monday through Friday
Call: All providers take their own on-call coverage
Patient volume: 12 to 15 patients per 4 hours (24 to 30 patient per 8hours)
EMR: NextGen
Scope:
Provide health care for women related to reproductive health; provide health care before, during and after pregnancy
Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines x-ray examinations (and required) clinical laboratory tests.
Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through interviews.
Diagnoses and treats diseases, disorders, and injuries of female reproductive system.
Treat high risk Ob patients
Prescribes prenatal and postnatal care, including diet and medications.
Provide as needed, Obstetrics/Gynecology inpatient and outpatient services
