Description
We are seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our 100-bed adult inpatient unit. Medical Center is a 358-bed, acute-care hospital with an adjacent psychiatric hospital, the ARH Psychiatric Center, which is the designated State acute mental health facility for a 21-county region in Eastern Kentucky. Physician will join five (5) other psychiatrists with a moderate call schedule. The hospital supports a Family Medicine Residency, Nursing and Allied Health educational programs through the University of Kentucky.
Serving more than 350,000 residents across Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia, operating 13 hospitals, multi-specialty physician practices, home health agencies, HomeCare Stores and retail pharmacies, this health system is the largest provider of care and single largest employer in southeastern Kentucky and the third largest private employer in southern West Virginia. The system employs nearly 5,000 people and has a network of more than 600 active and courtesy medical staff members representing various specialties.
