Description
Hospital is looking for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for its inpatient short stay geriatric psychiatric unit, Must be able to independently assess, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses. Rotating call required.
QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years experience in related health care setting required, Geriatric experience preferred, Master's Degree in Nursing, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills, efficient use of information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment, and audiovisual teaching/education resources, able to comprehend and follow policy, procedure, guidelines and protocols, flexible and dedication to team involvement and supporting organizational goal.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of NH, current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) ; Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP-BC) preferred, Federal DEA licensure, basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
