Description
General Surgery Practice is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join an existing general surgery practice. - BC/BC General Surgeon to join a practice with a full spectrum of services, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, behavioral health, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, and dermatology.
- Referral base draws from 5 clinics and a population of 40,000 plus.
- Practice includes general, colorectal, laparoscopic, wound care, endoscopy and colonoscopy; practice has growth potential for unique or new services.
- Trauma Level III hospital
- Practice includes 2 General Surgeons
- 1:2 weekday call
- 1:4 weekend/holiday community call
- Weekly schedule consists of clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach
- Compensation with incentive based on experience, 6+ weeks vacation, Malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and relocation package.
About the community:
It is about 1 hour from Fargo and 3 ½ hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The area has 412 lakes within a 25-mile radius and offers some of Minnesota's premier outdoor recreation. Summer is the busy time in lakes country with fishing, water sports, golfing on 14 challenging area courses and some of the largest events in the world. The 4th of July brings thousands to the city's mile-long beach to enjoy the water, fun and free fireworks show. The fall and winter bring ice fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, cross country skiing and downhill skiing. The community has a vibrant downtown district, and it's a short drive to the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area.
