As a Speech-Language Pathologist you will have a central role in the entire process, from assessment to treatment—and enjoy a front-row seat to these amazing achievements. Come join our team of tight-knit, fun-loving, trailblazing professionals.
SLPs are expected to adhere to the Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Currently we are hiring for fulltime. Flexible schedules to help achieve a positive work-life balance are available.
Demonstrates competency in the following areas:

• Provides direct and group therapy sessions.
• Establishes and maintains rapport with a variety of students, as dictated by caseload.
• Plans instruction for fostering communication and social interaction, in a variety of environments, with multiple communication partners.
• Integrates communication, social interaction, cognition, and adaptive function goals within the academic curriculum, residential setting, and vocational setting (where appropriate).
• Develops and/or implements instructional strategies and materials that are responsive to the characteristics, needs, and interests of each student.
• Demonstrates understanding of the implications of developmental and intellectual disabilities and the impact on learning.
• Demonstrates knowledge in the purposes and applications of AAC systems.
• Demonstrates knowledge of disorders of spoken language and literacy and their links to each other and to related communication disorders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of characteristics and challenges of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in social communication, language, literacy, related cognitive skills, behavior, and emotional regulation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the dynamic relationship between communication and behavior.
• Incorporates basic medical information into the selection and implementation of comprehensive intervention procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of normal, age-appropriate language, socio-communicative, and cognitive-communicative abilities. .
• Demonstrates understanding of the AAC assessment process.
• Demonstrates awareness of prognostic indicators for functional natural speech and language.
• Develops and tracks progress toward student-specific treatment goals, including the generation of associated documentation.
• Writes measureable student-specific goals and objectives/benchmarks for student IEPs.
• • Responds to team member concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Demonstrates competency in business practices
• Demonstrates basic understanding of funding sources and their impact on clinical services.
• Demonstrates understanding of the impact of productivity and efficiency on the financial viability of the organization and department as well as their effect on the value associated with clinical services. Meets productivity requirements.
• Follows appropriate service delivery models including the establishment, maintenance, and adherence to an efficient schedule.
• • Continues to develop competency areas, as defined by ASHA competency check-lists, in the areas of AAC; Autism; Language, socio-communicative, and/or cognitive-communication impairments; MR/DD; Supervision of Assistants; and Swallowing and Feeding.
  
Requirements
• Current NH State license, in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA CCC.
Willing to take an outstanding new grad

Skills
• Basic computer, internet, and mobile device functions and use.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
