Duties:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting
- Conduct patient assessments and medication reviews
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patients' medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication use and potential side effects
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and provide drug information to healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacy operations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department

Skills:
- Clinical pharmacy expertise, including knowledge of pharmacotherapy principles and evidence-based medicine
- Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy
- Proficiency in aseptic technique for sterile compounding, including IV infusion preparation
- Completion of a pharmacy residency program, preferably with a focus on clinical pharmacy practice
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients and managing their unique medication needs
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and medications commonly used in pain control
- Familiarity with managed care principles and formulary management
- Ability to work in critical care settings, providing specialized pharmaceutical care
