This position requires a Registered Nurse with previous experience working with the geriatric population. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and multitasking skills, excellent time management and communication skills, and will have the ability to take initiative in the completion of their duties. Responsibilities:

Advocate for patients' rights in a nursing home.
Conduct health assessments and initial screenings to determine patient's needs.
Create and administer treatment plans to ensure the well-being and safety of patients.
Maintain medical documentation of patient care and treatment.
Communicate and cooperate with other medical staff.
Work with family members of the patient in order to help them understand medical procedures, treatments, and medications.
Make diagnoses using available equipment and laboratory data.
Refer patients to other healthcare professionals if needed.

Skills

RN Licensure for Pennsylvania required.
CPR required.
LTC experience preferred but willing to hire newly licensed nurses.
