Medstaff is assisting with full or part time Primary Care NP/PA coverage for a correctional facility located in northeast of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Here are the details:

• Looking for a nationally certified NP or PA with an Iowa license, DEA, clean background and at least one year of experience


• Outpatient coverage for medium security, male inmate population


• M-F, 8-hour days, will consider 3-5 days per week


• Duties will include, physicals, collect historical health, developmental and psychosocial data, interpret, perform or assist in routing lab and related studies


• In addition, recommend patient care resources and work with nursing staff to determine diagnostic or therapeutic procedures


• Will be a 4-month commitment with possibility for extension
