New Job Details –
Location: LA
Duration: July 1 – 12 months
Reason for coverage: provider leaving
Schedule: Mon – Fri
Shift: 8a-4.30p
Call:
Currently weekday call Monday – Friday. Weekend call 1 weekend each month plus 1 weekend available to the NP taking call. 24 hours to respond to hospital consults. Clinic call ends at 8pm on weekdays. Weekends are 24 hour call for stat consults.
Patient volume: average 20 patients per day
Scope: General Neurology with an inpatient rounding component, EMG and Nerve Conduction Study abilities preferred.
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: 321 bed, level 3 trauma center
Group/support: 1 NP, 1 Clinical support staff per provider (currently 1 LPN and 1 MA for 2 providers), 1.5 Patient access (non-clinical) staff. The clinic shares a centralized front desk for patient check in and management of clinic visitors
