of our team.
Pediatric
nurses are able to gain a versatile set of skills and variation of clinical
experience and may float between the Pediatric and PICU units.
About this unit:
- 19 bed Pediatric unit
- Team-oriented, family feel in the unit
- Everyone on the team is motivated and
leadership is committed to mentoring through career mapping for
educational and personal success
Responsibilities:
- The staff nurse serves as the
leader of the Nursing Care team who is ultimately responsible and accountable
to the patient for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of
patient focused, outcome oriented care. Will develop competencies for
functioning safely in all areas of Pediatric/PICU Services. Nursing plan
of care will include newborns and adolescents.
Qualifications What Qualifications You
Will Need:
- Currently licensed to practice
as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana - CPR for Healthcare Providers to
be completed within 30 days of hire - ACLS, NRP & PALS to be
completed within 180 days of hire - ENPC to be completed within 1
year of hire
