Locum Tenens Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Location: Near Flintville, Tennessee Facility Description: We have an immediate need for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to cover call shifts from December 21st to December 26th, with additional coverage required in 2024. This opportunity is based near Flintville, TN. Assignment Details: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Start Date: December 21, 2023 End Date: December 26, 2023, with potential for additional coverage in 2024 Allowed Holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day Provider Type: Physician (MD) Coverage Type: Call Only EMR System: MEDHOST Practice Setting: Inpatient Admissions Required: Yes Patients Per Shift: 3 Bed In Department: 6 Credentialing and Support Details: Board Certification: Required Fellowship: Preferred Minimum Board Certification: Certified Active License in TN: Required Certifications Required: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) & Fetal Monitoring Number of Support Staff Provided: RN: 2, PA/NPs: 2 Advance Practice Providers Supervision Required: Yes Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Avg Call # per 24 Hr: Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes Phone Consults: 2 Patients Seen: 3 Admissions: 3 Specialty Skills: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery (Vaginal) Low forceps Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery (C-section) Breech Multiple births Abruptions VBAC's (Vaginal Birth After C-section) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only, Operative/major) Laser certification If you are interested in this opportunity, please call or text MD Staff at xxxxxxxxxxx* or email xxxxxxxxxxx*.
