This is a 30-40 hours/week position in a respected small-town medical practice offering all ages primary care, supported by a highly dynamic team that includes an onsite Clinical Manager and 3 experienced MAs. As the only health center in the area, you will see a wide variety of walk-in urgent care cases too. Take over for a physician who is retiring after 30 years of service here, and who will work alongside you for a while to manage the handoff. Your focus will be on prevention and treatment (and education) relating to injury and illness, practicing in a modern facility (recently renovated) with EMR and an onsite lab. This practice has partnered with a specialized mobile health services company that provides paramedic acute care 24/7, and tele-urgent care outside of clinic hours.
