Facility in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a psychiatrist for a PRN (as needed) opportunity to help with coverage. Duties include: providing care and services for patients within assigned program(s). Diagnosing and treating the mental, emotional, and behavioral issues of patients experiencing eating, mood and anxiety disorders . Actively participates on interdisciplinary treatment team to address the bio-psycho-social needs of our patients. Works within a collaborative environment including physicians, psychologists, counselors, social workers and other clinical staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs and supervises medical aspects of health service delivery.
Elicits and records information about patient's medical history and progress.
Attends patients admitted for treatment
Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
