Description
-Location: 60 miles from Atlanta, GA
-Duration: June - September (option to extend)
-Schedule: 2-4 weeks/month
-Shift: Tues / Wed / Thurs (10hr each day), 6:30a-5p
-Call: 1 or 2 of the 3 days (evening pager), 5p-7a
-Patient volume: APP will be assigned to a surgeon each day, 2-4 surgeries per day. When not in the OR, provider is to round on patients and complete consults.
-Scope: RNFA and PA to endo-harvest vein/Radial, possibly do groin cutdowns, and to help dry up and close chest including sternal closure with wires or plating system. Typically use RNFA as first assist during distals and proximals for CABG and PA's close with the RNFA's after surgeon is happy with hemostasis - surgeons close themselves when needed.

-Affiliated hospital: Level I trauma center, 250 beds
-Group/support: Full subspecialty support
-Required: Active GA license
