Description
Location: 1 hour from Cincinnati
Duration: July and ongoing until perm is hired (Schedule only gets released one month in advance, client is aware this is an issue and is working to get it for 3 months) (please prepare the candidate of additional shifts.
Schedule: July and ongoing (need 2-3 providers per shift)
Shift: 7a-5p with call shifts
Call: rotating call schedule
Patient volume: TBD
Scope: Yes, there is rounding and first-assisting. No clinic is required since we have a dedicated clinic PA. They will see all routine cardiothoracic cases. CABG, valves, complex aorta, lobectomy cases and VATS. Occasional ECMO but no further advanced heart failure, no VAD or transplants, Yes, vein harvesting. Endoscopic utilizing Maquet Hemopro 2
EMR: EPIC
Hospital:
Group/support: Currently there are 4 surgeons and 4 full-time surgical APPs along with 1 part-time APP and 1 new grad APP that is being trained. We cover 2 campuses, we also have scrubs and circulating nurses, ICU nurses
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified. Must have Maquet Hemopro experience and be comfortable with Vein Harvesting. Client will not look at a candidate that doesn’t have this experience. Covid Vaccinated or religious/medical exemption
Skills
EPIC experience is a plus but not required.
