As a locum Nurse Practitioner, you will be accountable for overseeing the medical care of the clients.

Treatment and diagnoses of acute illness, injury or follow-up
Prefer experience treating those with mental health and/or developmental disabilities.
Available for new admissions which have to be completed within 24 hours of admission
Perform clinics in the morning
See approximately 5-15 patients per day
Unit size: 30-75 clients

Requirements:

Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

The Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (RN, FNP-BC) is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and authorized to practice as an advance practice registered nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing.

All Practitioners must have a current, unrestricted license in Texas to practice in their respective profession.

Must have current registration certificates from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Texas Department of Public Safety Controlled Substance Board

Must possess a National Provider Identified (NPI#) as defined by Medicare Part B.

Copies of CPR certification
