Position Details:
- Location: Meridian, MS
- Duration: August 28 - ongoing
- Schedule: 1 full week per month
- Call Shift: 24-hour call coverage, Monday-Sunday 7a-7a
- Scope: 24-hour call coverage – Neonatology rounding (call taken from hotel)
- Duties: Neonatologists attend high-risk deliveries, perform rounding
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital: Level 3 trauma facility with 12 bed level 3 NICU. They have CMV, high flow, and bubble CPAP (they don’t have oscillator, cooling, surgery, or ECMO). Keeping babies 26 week+ or 600 grams+ (as long as they are stable not requiring - surgery)
- Support: NNP coverage 24/7 in house handle assessments and rounding
- Require: BC/BE, Active MS license or IMLC Compact
- Credentialing: temps 2-4 weeks
- 1099 Independent Contract
