Rosebud hospital is a 35 bed comprehensive medical/surgical hospital located in Rosebud, South Dakota. The hospital is the primary source of health care for the Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate) tribal members, in and around the Rosebud Sioux reservation.

10-bed ED
1 Trauma Bay, 1 Triage Rooms, 5 Treatment Bays and 3 Exam (Fast Track) Rooms
Admission Rate: 19-bed Inpatient unit for basic medical/surgical & pediatric admissions
with average daily census of 6 patients.
Annual Patient Volume – 14,800 (41 per day)
Ancillary Services: Outpatient Clinic, Women’s Health Clinic, Dental, Optometry, 24-hr
lab services, 24-hr. X-Ray/CT, Inpatient Med/Surg & Peds, NO L&D & NO SURGICAL
SERVICES.

Skills

Current American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) - MD* or American Osteopathic
Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)* - DO certification and; Documented Emergency Department experience within the last 24 months of hire.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the management of pediatric and obstetric patients,
including obstetrical emergencies, such as precipitous deliveries.
