We have an exciting opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital near Cottontown, TN. This position offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive support, and a chance to work with an experienced medical team.

Job Overview:

Location: Near Cottontown, Tennessee

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 90 days (with the possibility of extension)

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Patient Ages: Primarily adult

Setting: Inpatient hospital setting

Call Responsibilities: Yes (including ER consultations)

Special Procedures: ERCP and EUS are required

Key Details:

Consultation Coverage: Includes consults and ER call

Coverage Needs: The hospital is seeking 21 to 24 days of coverage per month for the next 90 days.

Medical License: Must hold a current Tennessee medical license

Board Certification/Eligibility: Board Certified in Gastroenterology required

DEA/CSR: Must be active

Support Provided:

In-House Team Support: Travel and lodging arrangements handled

Medical Malpractice Coverage: Provided with A++ rated claims-made policy, including lifetime tail coverage

Consult Group Transition: Previous group coverage ends on 8/17, and this position will help bridge the gap with a new coverage team.
