Locum Tenens Opportunity for Non-Invasive Cardiologist near Chester, PA

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an excellent locum tenens opportunity near Chester, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a skilled physician looking for weekend inpatient coverage with flexible scheduling. Position Details:

• Location: Near Chester, PA


• Role: Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Inpatient call only


• Schedule: 1-2 weekends per month, covering Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM


• Start Date: Immediate availability required


• Support Staff: Fellow and APP support

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 30 in-hospital patients with support from a fellow and APP


• Handle 5-8 new inpatient admissions per day


• Supervise healthcare providers, including fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs)


• Perform procedures such as:
  
  
  
  • Echocardiography
  
  
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
  
  
  • Electrical Cardioversions
  
  
  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  
  
  • Treadmill Stress Tests
  
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Required in Cardiology – Non-Invasive


• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required


• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania medical license


• Experience: Prior locum tenens or relevant clinical experience in cardiology


• EMR: Experience with Epic is preferred
