We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrics Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan, near Essexville. This temporary assignment offers the chance to provide vital pediatric care during the holidays and offers varied shifts, including on-call responsibilities. Position Details:

• Job Title: Locum - Pediatrics Physician


• Location: Near Essexville, MI


• Start Date: November 27, 2024, 7:00 AM


• End Date: January 2, 2025, 7:00 AM


• Additional Dates: Future opportunity available from September 20, 2025 - October 12, 2025


• Shift Type: Varied shifts with weekend and on-call requirements


• Patients per Day: Average 1-2 deliveries per day

Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for labor and delivery (L&D) during the assignment period


• Attendance at cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries


• Routine newborn care in a Level I nursery


• Management of acute conditions, including volume and blood pressure issues


• Perform circumcisions as needed

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (No Board Eligibility)


• Michigan Medical License & CSR required at submission


• BLS Certification required


• Must be local or willing to commute, as local candidates are highly preferred


• Clean background check for quick credentialing


• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated


• DEA license with verbal confirmation required at the time of name clearance

Additional Information:

• Malpractice insurance must be included in the proposed rate


• On-call shifts are part of the assignment, including 24-hour holiday coverage


• Must use reverse billing with Kronos for clocking in/out – no timesheets


• No reimbursement for medical staff fees or third-party lodging bookings
