Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine (Hematology and Oncology) near Philadelphia, PA (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician with a specialization in Hematology and Oncology for a locum tenens position near Philadelphia, PA. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a reputable outpatient setting with both clinical and on-call responsibilities. The position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care in the field of hematology and oncology.


• Clinical Hours: 4 days per week, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.


• Call Coverage: 1 day per week and two weekends every three months.


• Manage a patient panel of 10-20 patients per shift.


• Admissions Required: Yes


• Hospital Privileges: Required, temporary privileges are available.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Eligible in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology.


• License Requirement: Licensed in Pennsylvania only.


• Certifications Required: ABLS; ACLS, BLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.


• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 30 days.

Additional Information:

• Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.


• Reimbursement: Licensing costs will not be covered. The provider will be required to cover these expenses themselves.


• The position is for a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, with specific call schedules to be determined.
