Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Cardiology near Seattle, WA (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with a specialization in Cardiology for a locum tenens position near Seattle, WA. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in both a clinical and call setting. The assignment is available ASAP and will continue through early May 2025.

Position Details:

• Shift Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call


• Practice Setting: Inpatient


• EMR System: Epic

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care in an inpatient setting.


• Perform scheduled clinic hours and manage call responsibilities.


• Clinic Schedule: 2-3 days per week.


• Call Schedule: 2-3 days per week, with flexibility depending on the clinic schedule.


• Average patients per shift: 14.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Cardiology for advanced practice providers – Required.


• ACLS and BLS certifications – Required.


• Licensed in WA or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) – Required.


• No hospital/surgery center privileges needed, as no admissions are required.


• No temporary privileges are available.


• The provider must be comfortable with both clinic and call duties, including managing acute cardiology cases and providing support for hospital stroke certifications.

Additional Information:

• Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.


• Reimbursement: Travel costs will not be covered, but the facility will reimburse for mileage at the IRS standard rate. Hotel costs will be capped.
