We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine physician for a locum tenens position near Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:

  Outpatient Care:

  
  
  
  
  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages.
  
  
  • Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day.
  
  
  • Perform routine check-ups, preventive care, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.

  • Coverage is required Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  
  
  • No inpatient or hospital/surgery center privileges required.
  
  
  • No rounding responsibilities.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine.


• Licensing: Must hold an active medical license in Georgia.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  
  
  
  


• Fellowship: Not required.


• Hospital Privileges: Not needed.


• Temporary Privileges: Not available.


• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 21 days.

Training and Requirements:

  • Epic training sessions are scheduled every other week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  
  
  • Training can only be completed after credentialing and must be finished before the provider can start.
