Practice Setting:

• Medical Direction Model: The CRNA will work under a medical direction model, providing anesthesia care across various specialties, including cardiac, vascular, and neuro cases.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and dynamic: Ideal for CRNAs comfortable with a broad scope of practice


• Mid-day shifts, nights, weekends, and on-call availability required to meet patient needs


• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Expertise:
  
  
  
  • Perform anesthesia for a wide range of procedures, with a preference for those experienced in cardiac, vascular, and neuro cases
  
  
  • Ensure high-quality patient care, emphasizing safety and comfort throughout procedures
  
  
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the needs of the unit
  
  
  
  


• Floating Requirement:
  
  
  
  • Flexibility to float between different locations if necessary
  
  
  • Ability to handle varying caseloads and adapt to different work environments
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Licensure and Certification:
  
  
  
  • Active and unrestricted North Carolina CRNA license required
  
  
  • Certification as a CRNA is mandatory
  
  
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS and BLS may be required during credentialing
  
  
  
  


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Prior experience in a medical direction model preferred
  
  
  • Expertise in cardiac, vascular, and neuro anesthesia is highly desirable
  
  
  • Ability to work mid-day shifts, nights, weekends, and take call if needed
