Description
The Urology locum tenens opportunity in Alaska…
-Location: Kenai Peninsula (2 hours from Anchorage airport)
-Duration: January or February – August 2025 (potential for extension)
-Schedule: 2 weeks per month (flexible on which weeks)
-Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p
-Call: yes when in town, very low volume
-Scope: full scope, adults only, clinic and call (option for robotics)
-Clinic volume: 62-99 per week
-Surgical volume: 7-14 per week
-EMR: Epic
-Group: 1 other MD and ancillary support staff
-Affiliated hospital: 49 beds, no trauma designation
-Requirements: Board certified or board eligible with Alaska license or willing to apply (license takes ~60 days and Pacific Companies will support the process)
