As soon as credentialed, no later than February 20, 2025 – Ongoing

Schedule:
20 days of inpatient hospitalist coverage per month, split between two providers
Rotating: 5 days on, 15 days off
Patient Volume:
Average daily census: 10–12

Scope of Practice:
Inpatient Hospitalist Duties: Rounding and admissions
Procedures and Codes:
Lead or participate in daytime codes
ED handles overnight emergencies but may contact for closed-loop communication or follow-ups
Pediatrics:
Credentialing required for inpatient pediatrics
Includes care for well and sick babies

EMR System: Evident

Support Staff & Resources:
3 employed hospitalists in the group
24-hour ED coverage
OB/GYN and Certified Nurse Midwives available for newborn care (NRP and well-baby care)
24-hour respiratory therapy
Onsite radiology (business hours) with interventional radiology support
24-hour general and orthopedic surgery coverage

Requirements:
Active Alaska medical license
Board Certification preferred
