Job Duties and Responsibilities

  Primary Responsibilities:

  
  
  
  
  • Suturing minor lacerations
  
  
  • Responding to Trauma Alerts in the Emergency Department
  
  
  • Performing surgical consultations
  
  
  • Handling ER admissions
  
  
  • Facilitating patient discharges
  
  
  • Managing house codes and participating in the Rapid Response Team
  
  
  • Completing FAST exams at the bedside
  
  
  • Providing general surgery coverage from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and full 24-hour coverage on weekends
